Frequently asked questions

  • Kombucha is fermented tea, and it naturally contains probiotics and healthy organic acids. It has been consumed for thousands of years across countless cultures as a beverage that promotes health and has found its way to the north shores of the U.P.

A little tart and a little sweet, with just the right amount of bubbles, kombucha is a delicious treat!

  • Like all fermented foods, Kombucha contains probiotics (good bacteria), which are known to support a healthy gut. A healthy gut means having a proper balance between helpful and potentially harmful bacteria in your body.

A healthy gut contributes to a decrease in any inflammation and bloating you may have. It also aids in building stronger immunity, smooth digestion, balanced energy levels, less stress, healthy skin and nails, and improved mood!

  • Tea, water, sugar, and a culture (the collection of micro-organisms responsible for fermentation) are all you need to make kombucha.

At Living Proof Brewing Company we use a blend of green and black teas, then add fresh fruits, herbs, and aromatic spices to produce our unique, delicious flavor!

Remember to look for the gold cap! 👑

  • This is a great question that everyone should ask themselves.

Recycling glass is one of the many ways we can help reduce pollution and waste. Here at Living Proof Brewing Company, we offer you the easy ability to return your used bottles that you received from us or any of our retailers.

At any of our pop up/market tap stations, you can exchange them to get a new bottle filled with your kombucha flavor of choice for 40-60% off the normal cost of a bottle of kombucha.

This is a miniscule way for us at Living Proof Brewing Co. to save raw recourses and save you money on your booch fix.

  • Look, we know it’s tempting to want to shake the bottle when you see any sediment floating at the bottom. However, the kombucha is lightly carbonated. If you shake it up you could get an explosive mess…unless you’re into that, in that case be our guest.
